We took some friends to the airport around rush hour, and we didn't make any plans about what to do for dinner. We searched the local area, and were headed to another restaurant when we saw this on the navigation, and decided to stop in. SO GLAD we did. This is a sweet, small place with lovely people and delicious food. I am from California, and I have eaten A LOT of really good Mexican food when I was living there, and have consistently been disappointed with most of the Mexican restaurants I have tried on the East Coast. But Taqueria Jalisco is the real deal. We each decided to try the tamales, and they were SUPERB! We will return here soon...even if we don't have a reason to go to the airport. And if that isn't enough...the prices are quite low for the amount and the quality of the food that they serve.

My friend took me here and said they had the best Birria tacos in Boston and she was right! Since then I have been here 3 times and the quality still remains. First off, it is doubled shell and super crispy and the soup is packed with flavors. My mouth is watering as I'm typing up this review. Please come here if you want some amazing birria tacos! You will not regret it. Service is super quick and friendly. There is seating but kinda limited. When there's no seating I recommend just taking it to piers park and eat it there.

Amazing food!! So filling and so flavorful, soft corn tortillas with such yummy soft meat, probably the best Mexican food I've had in Boston! Nice service, they shuffled people around to make space for everyone's groups

Best Mexican food in the Boston area! We got the Birria tacos and enchiladas to go and both were so good and flavorful. The place is small but has some seating if you'd like to dine in. Service for to go orders was super efficient - we had our food ready to go in 20 minutes. Will definitely be back!

Been on a journey of trying to find the best birria tacos around the Boston area. I got to try Jalisco located in East Boston and they didn't disappoint! I can't say these are THE BEST YET I'm still searching since at every place I try, I find certain parts of birria tacos at different places that I like. The birria tacos here are super, super crispy which I LOVE!! They used double tortillas making the outer part super crispy. This is what I'm looking for when eating a birria taco. In terms of the meat and consommé, the consommé was flavorful but the meat wasn't pact of flavor as much as I had hoped for compared to other places I've tried. That doesn't mean the meat wasn't good though and it wasn't overly salty which I loved! I feel like seeing people eat and make birria tacos, I have this high expectation of it tasting a certain way and I just need to keep trying more. I'll be coming back here though when I'm craving birria tacos for sure. It's real Mexican food, local and the lady at the cashier was super nice and helpful too!

Birria tacos were amazing. I was staying in the area and has nice weather so opted to walk around and found this place to grab dinner and it was well worth it. You know you found the right spot when it is packed and standing room only. I lucked out and a solo seat opened up after I ordered and so I got to enjoy my meal there. Will definitely be back for these tacos when in the neighborhood again.

A friend of mine said that this place had the best birria tacos in all of Boston. I got an order to go, and I loved how they packaged it, with the salsa, onions, radishes, etc. The salsa is really spicy, which I enjoyed. I thought the tacos were good, and the consommé is a little on the salty side. Being from California, I find these tacos good, but I personally think the places in California are better. But if I was in the area, I would get this if I was craving birria tacos.

Best birria tacos in Boston!!! The tortillas were crispy and the beef was juicy. The consomé was perfect and complimented the tacos well. Definitely eat these hot if possible so you can really enjoy the tacos. The restaurant is small so if you're lucky you can get table or just eat outside. The service is good and the wait is expected. Every time I've gone there would always be a line or a bunch of people waiting outside. If I lived closer I'd eat here everyday!
